New video finally, heres Part 1 of 4 videos of My girlfriend and I hitting the range with a variety of firepower to blast away at a large selection of targets ranging from watermelons, waterjugs, cantelope, eggplant, a plastic chair, 5 gallon bucket, and a vacuum cleaner seen in the last half. In this video I have not 1 but 3 new guns going to the range with me for their maiden voyage, I've got these over the last few months and just now got to take them out. First up a new cannon on the block that beats out the Desert Eagle, the Smith & Wesson Model 460XVR with the 8-3/8" barrell, this gun is a sweet shooter and can take the .460 S&W Magnum cartridge as well as the .454 Casull and .45 Colt. I shoot all three calibers in the vids, Super fun versatility there. Next up is a new pump-action shotgun my girlfriend bought me for Valentine's Day earlier this year and i finally get the chance to take it out and put some lead downrange with it. Its a Winchester Model 1300 XTR and its a good looking shotgun, its got a good punch when i shoot slugs out of it cause theres no recoil pad on it. woohoo, And last but not least a 12 Gauge semi-automatic mag-fed Russian-American Armory / Izhmash Saiga-12 with the 19" Barrel, this thing is alot of fun and eventually i plan on adding things to it to make it even more fun when i can save up some cash. Some Smith and Wesson revolvers come from the factory with a rough double action trigger pull. It's an easy job to smooth it up however if you know the process. In this GunTec presentation Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA, details how to smooth the double action pull using just a couple of hand tools. He starts by removing the trigger and the hammer from the revolver. The double action surface on the trigger is stoned using a fine India stone and a steel bench block. He then removes the double action sear surface from the hammer and polishes the surface with the stone. Once all of the areas have been touched up the gun is reassembled and function tested.

Since so much was made of the fact that I am an American firearm owner and a holder of a CCW I though I would tak you with Big Nick and I to the Pocono Pistol Club range. We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of target shooting and a pretty good burrito afterwords.
